Overview

Vegi Source provides a wide array of vitamins and minerals, many at or above daily recommended values, which should effectively address common nutritional deficiencies. However, the doses of numerous botanical extracts and specialized compounds are considerably lower than those typically found to be effective in clinical research, suggesting limited efficacy in these areas. The overall effectiveness for general health maintenance is fair, but its impact on specific health conditions linked to the underdosed ingredients is questionable.

The Good

Provides a broad spectrum of essential vitamins and minerals.

Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, Folate, Biotin, and Pantothenic Acid are provided at robust levels to support metabolic and neurological health.

Contains a good dose of Vitamin C for immune support and antioxidant benefits.

The Bad

Many herbal and specialized ingredients (e.g., Alpha Lipoic Acid, Betaine, Bromelain, Quercetin, Taurine, Eleuthero, Ginger, Ginkgo, Milk Thistle, Coenzyme Q10, Grapeseed, Green Tea, Turmeric) are significantly underdosed, rendering their inclusion largely ineffective for their purported benefits.

Extremely high dose of Vitamin B12 (5000% DV per daily serving), which while water-soluble, raises concerns about unnecessary excess and potential for certain health associations at very high levels.

High dose of Vitamin A (10,000 IU per daily serving) can be problematic, especially if combined with other sources of Vitamin A, and is contraindicated in pregnancy.

Is it for you?

Best For: Individuals seeking general nutritional support, vegetarians, vegans, those with dietary gaps

Skip If: You have specific allergies to ingredients, or are pregnant/nursing without consulting a doctor
