Overview

This prenatal multivitamin provides a comprehensive blend of essential vitamins and minerals necessary for a healthy pregnancy. The inclusion of folate as Quatrefolic and a high dose of vitamin D3 adds to its efficacy. However, some nutrient dosages, notably vitamin D, B vitamins, and biotin, significantly exceed the recommended daily allowance for pregnant women, and the calcium content is quite low. As most nutrients are already adequately obtained through diet, supplementation may only be needed in rare instances of deficiency.

The Good

Comprehensive vitamin and mineral support for pregnancy

Includes highly bioavailable folate (Quatrefolic)

Contains an optimal dose of Vitamin D3

The Bad

Potential for gastrointestinal discomfort

May not provide sufficient calcium for all pregnant women

Some vitamins are in excess of the RDA

Is it for you?

Best For: Pregnant women, women trying to conceive, women of childbearing age

Skip If: You have a known allergy to any ingredients, or are already taking other supplements that provide similar nutrients at high doses.
