Apple fiber's soluble components contribute to its ability to form a viscous gel, influencing digestion and nutrient absorption. Its prebiotic properties also play a role in modulating gut microbiota. It is available in various forms, including powders and as a component of whole apples.

Benefits

Apple fruit fiber primarily benefits stool frequency, LDL cholesterol levels, and microbiome composition. Studies show a significant increase in stool frequency (approximately 0.26 bowel movements per day) in individuals with functional constipation. How it works

Apple fruit fiber works through several mechanisms.
