Overview

This XTEND EAA product provides branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) and other essential amino acids (EAAs). While the BCAAs, particularly L-Leucine, are intended to support muscle protein synthesis, the dose of L-Leucine (1.5g) is below the generally accepted optimal threshold (2-3g) to maximally stimulate MPS in a single serving. The other EAAs are present in very low doses (tens to hundreds of milligrams), making their individual physiological impact negligible for direct anabolic effects for most individuals. The product's overall effectiveness for comprehensive EAA benefits is limited by these low concentrations, acting more as a BCAA supplement with added, underdosed EAAs.

The Good

Provides Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) to support muscle recovery.

Contains all Essential Amino Acids (EAAs), which are crucial for protein synthesis.

L-Leucine, the most critical BCAA for MPS, is the highest dosed EAA.

The Bad

Suboptimal Dosing of Several EAAs

L-Arginine Presence (less effective for NO than citrulline)

Uncertainty of Individual EAA Contribution

Is it for you?

Best For: Athletes, fitness enthusiasts, individuals seeking muscle recovery and hydration support

Skip If: You are sensitive to artificial sweeteners or have specific medical conditions requiring restricted amino acid intake.
