Overview

The Mega Source Green Tea supplement contains several ingredients often associated with metabolism and energy; however, the efficacy is undermined by the proprietary 'Metabolism Enhancer Blend' which prevents proper evaluation of individual ingredient dosages. While green tea extract and caffeine are present at doses that may offer some benefits, many other ingredients, particularly within the blend, are likely underdosed for significant effects based on current research. The claims of 'curbing appetite & enhancing energy' and 'support weight loss' are only modestly supported given the formulation.

The Good

Provides Green Tea Extract and naturally occurring caffeine for mild energy and antioxidant support.

Chromium is included at a dose supported by research for potential blood sugar regulation.

Contains a variety of botanical extracts that may offer synergistic benefits, although at unknown doses.

The Bad

Proprietary blend (Metabolism Enhancer Blend) hides the specific dosages of most active ingredients, making efficacy assessment difficult.

Fo-Ti has a well-documented risk of hepatotoxicity, and its presence at an unknown dose is a significant safety concern.

Caffeine content, especially when taken three times a day, may cause jitters, sleep disturbances, or increased heart rate in sensitive individuals.
