Overview

Medi-Doze combines well-researched ingredients for sleep support. Melatonin is dosed at 6mg, which is on the higher end of effective doses for sleep onset and regulation, usually ranging from 0.3mg to 5mg. Valerian is included at 50mg, which is below the typically effective range of 300-600mg for sleep reported in studies. GABA is present at 30mg, a dose often used in clinical studies for sleep and relaxation, however, its oral bioavailability and ability to cross the blood-brain barrier remain debated. The combination may offer synergistic effects, but the underdosed valerian might reduce its overall efficacy.

The Good

Well-dosed Melatonin for sleep onset and regulation.

Includes two distinct mechanisms for promoting relaxation and sleep (Melatonin and Valerian/GABA).

Generally safe ingredient profile with few reported severe side effects for individual components.

The Bad

Valerian is significantly underdosed, potentially limiting its effectiveness.

GABA's efficacy is debated due to limited blood-brain barrier penetration.

Potential for pronounced daytime drowsiness, especially with the 6mg Melatonin dose.
